Highlands County Man Arrested for Child Pornography Possession

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced a Highlands County man has been taken into custody and will be charged with possession of child pornography. Glen Edward Hall, 51, was arrested this afternoon by law enforcement with the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit after investigators discovered Hall had multiple images of child pornography in his possession. The Sebring Police Department assisted with the arrest.

CyberCrime investigators located images of child pornography during a routine investigation and traced the images back to Hall’s computer. A search warrant was executed at his Sebring home where a computer and multiple compact discs were seized. The items removed from the home will undergo forensic analysis to identify any additional images of child pornography. An initial review of his computer revealed multiple images of child pornography including some of children as young as three years old.

Hall will be booked into the Highlands County Jail and will be charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, a second-degree felony. The CyberCrime Unit is a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
