CyberCrime Unit Arrests Orange County Man for Possession of Child Pornography

TALLAHASSEE, FL -- Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced an Orange County man has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography. Ronald Jordan was arrested this morning by the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit with assistance from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ocoee and Winter Springs Police Departments.

During a routine undercover investigation, CyberCrime investigators discovered numerous images of child pornography and traced the images back to Jordan’s computer. A search warrant was executed at Jordan’s Ocoee home where investigators seized two computers and numerous CDs. A preliminary forensic review of the computer yielded pornographic images of children as young as eight years old.

Jordan, 51, was booked into the Orange County Jail and will be charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography which will be enhanced to a second-degree felony. The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s CyberCrime attorneys. A copy of Jordan's booking photograph is available online at: http://twurl.cc/26ex
