Duval County Man Arrested For Possession, Promotion of Child Pornography

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced a Duval County man has been taken into custody and will be charged with possession of child pornography. Randall Evan Wilson, 27, was arrested by law enforcement with the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit after investigators discovered Wilson had multiple images of child pornography in his possession.

CyberCrime investigators located images of child pornography during a routine investigation and traced the images back to Wilson’s computer. A search warrant was executed at his Jacksonville home where a computer and several hard drives were seized. The items removed from the home will undergo forensic analysis to identify any additional images of child pornography. An initial review of his computers revealed multiple images of child pornography, some of children as young as 10 years old.

Wilson will be booked into the Duval County Jail and will be charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promotion of child pornography, both second-degree felonies . The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office assisted with the arrest.
